🏏 INDIA PACE CHALLENGE (IPC) – DELHI EDITION

OFFICIAL EVENT RULES & GUIDELINES

1. EVENT OBJECTIVE

The objective of “India Pace Challenge – Delhi Edition” is to identify, evaluate and support promising fast bowling talent across India through a professional and transparent selection process using speed measurement technology and expert assessment.

2. Event Details (IPC – Delhi Edition)

INDIA PACE CHALLENGE (IPC) – Delhi Edition

Date: 27th June (Saturday)

Venue: TALKATORA STADIUM, NEW DELHI (Flood Light Facility)

Registration (Incharge): 9599074388

Format: National Level Event

3. ORGANISER RIGHTS

The Organising Committee reserves the right to:

  • Modify schedules, rules or format if required
  • Disqualify participants for misconduct or rule violations
  • Take final decisions regarding player selection and event operations
  • All decisions made by the Selection Committee and Organisers shall be final and binding.

4. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Categories

Junior Category

  • Boys & Girls
  • Maximum Age: Under 19 Years

Senior Category

  • Boys & Girls
  • No Age Limit: Open Category

5. AGE PROOF

Participants must carry at least one valid original ID proof:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • School/College ID
  • Passport
  • Birth Certificate

Failure to provide valid proof may lead to disqualification.

6. REGISTRATION RULES

  • Registration is compulsory for all participants and it is only accepted through www.indiapacechallenge.com
  • Entry fee once paid shall be non-refundable
  • Incomplete forms may be rejected
  • Participants must report within their allotted batch timing

7. REFUNDS & WITHDRAWALS

7.1 Entry fees once paid are non-refundable.

7.2 Refunds, if any, shall be subject to organiser discretion.

7.3 No refund shall be provided for player no-shows or scheduling conflicts.

7.4 If the tournament is cancelled due to force majeure, refunds will be processed after deduction of applicable online charges.

8. REPORTING & CHECK-IN

Participants must:

  • Report at least 60 minutes before scheduled slot
  • Carry registration confirmation
  • Wear proper cricket sportswear and sports shoes
  • Late reporting may result in cancellation of participation.

9. FAIR PLAY & ANTI-DOPING

9.1 PPC promotes fair play and ethical sporting practices.

9.2 Any player found using prohibited substances or engaging in cheating practices may face immediate suspension.

9.3 The Organising Committee reserves the right to conduct verification or disciplinary checks.

10. BOWLING FORMAT

ROUND 1 – SPEED SCREENING

  • Each participant will bowl 3 deliveries
  • Best recorded speed will be considered

ROUND 2 – SPEED + ACCURACY

  • Qualified participants will bowl 6 deliveries
  • Evaluation based on:
    • Speed
    • Accuracy
    • Bowling action
    • Control

FINAL ROUND

  • Finalists will bowl 9 Balls 
  • Selection will be based on:
    • Average speed
    • Peak speed
    • Accuracy
    • Fitness
    • Bowling rhythm and consistency

11. BALL CONDITION

  • Organisers will provide standard cricket balls
  • Participants are not allowed to use personal balls

12. SPEED MEASUREMENT

  • Speed will be recorded through Radar Gun technology
  • Radar readings displayed by official devices shall be final
  • No disputes regarding speed readings will be entertained

13. BOWLING ACTION

  • Illegal/chucking bowling actions are strictly prohibited
  • Selection Committee may disqualify bowlers with suspect action

14. FITNESS & SAFETY

Participants must:

  • Be medically fit to participate
  • Warm up properly before bowling
  • Follow safety instructions
  • Organisers shall not be responsible for injuries, accidents or medical conditions occurring during the event.

15. CODE OF CONDUCT

Participants must maintain:

  • Discipline
  • Respect towards officials and players
  • Sportsmanship

The following may lead to on the spot disqualification:

  • Abuse or misconduct
  • Damage to property
  • Misbehaviour with staff or officials
  • Use of banned substances or alcohol

16. SELECTION PROCESS

  • Top 2 performers from each category (Boys & Girls – Junior & Senior) will be shortlisted
  • Selection will be conducted by:
    • Senior coaches
    • Former cricketers
    • Technical evaluation panel

Selection will consider:

  • Speed
  • Accuracy
  • Potential
  • Fitness
  • Overall bowling ability

17. WINNER SUPPORT PROGRAM

8 Selected players (4 Boys & 4 Girls) may receive:

  • 2-year Training/Coaching Support contracts (Delhi based academy) or Home Academy on renewal basis
  • Coaching support
  • Special Cricket T-Shirts, Caps & Track Suits
  • 2 year Nutrition support by FITKART (International  Approved Brand)
  • Exposure opportunity/Camp
  • Merit Certificates & Trophies

Support structure may vary depending on player availability, discipline and performance progression.

18. Every Participants Gets:

  • Cap
  • Certificate
  • Event Mementos
  • Refreshment
  • Exposure opportunities

19. MEDIA & PROMOTIONAL RIGHTS

By participating, players grant organisers permission to:

  • Use photographs/videos during and after the event 
  • Publish match/event footage
  • Use participant names for promotional purposes

No separate compensation shall be payable for such usage.

20. WEATHER / FORCE MAJEURE

The organisers reserve the right to:

  • Reschedule matches/trials
  • Modify format
  • Delay proceedings

Due to:

  • Rain
  • Natural conditions
  • Technical issues
  • Safety concerns
  • Any other unavoidable circumstances

21. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

Participation is voluntary and at participant’s own risk. In case of minor participation is at Guardian’s risk.

The organisers shall not be liable for:

  • Injury
  • Loss of belongings
  • Medical emergencies
  • Travel or accommodation issues

22. PLAYER DECLARATION

By registering for IPC – Delhi Edition, every participant confirms that:

  • They have read and understood all the event rules.
  • They agree to abide by all regulations.
  • They are medically fit to participate.
  • They accept organiser decisions as final.
  • They participate voluntarily and at their own risk.
  • Parent/guardian consent is obtained where applicable (In case of minor)

Players are responsible for checking updates regularly.
