Selection & Event Format
1. BOWLING FORMAT
ROUND 1 – SPEED SCREENING
- Each participant will bowl 3 deliveries
- Best recorded speed will be considered
ROUND 2 – SPEED + ACCURACY
- Qualified participants will bowl 6 deliveries
- Evaluation based on:
- Speed
- Accuracy
- Bowling action
- Control
FINAL ROUND
- Finalists will bowl 9 Balls
- Selection will be based on:
- Average speed
- Peak speed
- Accuracy
- Fitness
- Bowling rhythm and consistency
2. BALL CONDITION
- Organisers will provide standard cricket balls
- Participants are not allowed to use personal balls
3. SPEED MEASUREMENT
- Speed will be recorded through Radar Gun technology
- Radar readings displayed by official devices shall be final
- No disputes regarding speed readings will be entertained
4. BOWLING ACTION
- Illegal/chucking bowling actions are strictly prohibited
- Selection Committee may disqualify bowlers with suspect action
5. SELECTION PROCESS
- Top 2 performers (Total 8 Bowlers) from each category (Boys & Girls – Junior & Senior) will be shortlisted
- Selection will be conducted by:
- Senior coaches
- Former cricketers
- Technical evaluation panel
Selection will consider:
- Speed
- Accuracy
- Potential
- Fitness
- Overall bowling ability
6. WINNER SUPPORT PROGRAM
8 Selected players (4 Boys & 4 Girls) may receive:
- 2-year Training/Coaching Support contracts (Delhi based academy) or Home Academy on renewal basis
- Coaching support
- Special Cricket T-Shirts, Caps & Track Suits
- 2 year Nutrition support by FITKART (International Approved Brand)
